Position Overview
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to patients and their families, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting patients, family members, and visitors.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule patient appointments and accurately input data into the scheduling system.
- Register patients, updating demographic and insurance details in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and keep waiting patients informed.
- Process patient payments, applying them to accounts as necessary.
- Reconcile daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required, with 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Travel is rarely required.
