As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing daily non-clinical ancillary services to our guests, helping them achieve long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Observe and report notable information via email while supervising clients.
  • Monitor and supervise clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transport clients to and from houses, meetings, and various events, adhering to all traffic and safety laws while operating a company vehicle.
  • Perform routine safety checks of the houses to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate appropriate, professional boundaries when interacting with clients.
  • Assist other Support Staff with tasks as required.
  • Run errands for the facility and clients as needed.
  • Weekly grocery/personal shopping for clients.
  • Perform regular facility organization and maintenance.
  • Cover the front desk for lunch breaks.
  • Travel out of state and long distances to bring clients to and from the facility and to appointments.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks of company vehicles.
  • Assist with the inspection of client belongings as needed.
  • Bring detox and residential clients outside for smoke breaks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass State of Maine criminal background and driving record checks.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 12-step recovery knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior work experience in a substance abuse facility a plus.
