Job Overview

Milestone Recovery is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Extended Care Attendant. In this role, you will provide support and care to clients residing in our Extended Care Program, helping them achieve stability, dignity, and recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and oversight to clients throughout the shift, including engaging in hourly room checks and supportive conversations.
  • Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential practice.
  • Responsible for cleaning staff bathrooms and med rooms, including changing trash and mopping floors.
  • Arrange or provide transportation to emergency services when needed.
  • Respect client confidentiality at all times.
  • Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings.
Requirements

A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required. A valid State Driver's license is required. Prior experience related to the human services field is highly preferred. Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder populations is highly preferred. Recovery Coach training is highly preferred.

Compensation

$19.50 - 20.50 per hour, based on experience. +$2.50/hr overnights, +$2.50/hr weekends, +$5.00/hr weekend overnights.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Staff must have the ability to engage in basic cleaning tasks. Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. May spend extended periods engaging in physical activity such as walking, bending, standing and lifting.
