Job Description

We are seeking a Complimentary AM Server to provide exceptional service to our guests at Towne Place & Suites Metairie.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, collecting payment, and aiding in food and beverage areas, including busing, cleaning, and resetting tables.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing excellent food and beverage products for our guests.
  • Providing proactive service to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Assisting in food prep for special events and banquets.
  • Following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
  • Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations.
  • Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return.
  • Completing restaurant opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools.
  • Cleaning all equipment areas, locking equipment doors, etc.
  • Setting up stock and maintaining work areas.
  • Taking orders from customers, inputting orders in micros, and obtaining payment.
  • Preparing food, coffee, and other beverages, including alcohol.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • No prior experience is required, but is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
