Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at the University of California San Francisco. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing reproductive endocrinology and infertility treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
Requirements
  • Two or more years of clinical RN experience in women's health
  • At least one year of recent experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills, including EMR application(s) and Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • Phlebotomy and IV skills
  • Experience with telephone triage
