Sales Director

At SkyWater Technology Foundry, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving strategic deal closures that align closely with our business objectives and core technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and Pursue Business Opportunities: Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue business opportunities that align with SkyWater's core capabilities and technology platforms.
- Develop and Maintain a Robust Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet growth objectives, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads.
- Support Alignment of Customer Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with internal engineering teams.
- Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate contracts and agreements that optimize profit, long-term value, cash flow, IP terms, and liability, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Closing Purchase Orders and Program Contracts: Close purchase orders and program contracts, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Track and Update Opportunities: Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and update opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Foster Close Connections with Customer Stakeholders: Foster close connections with customer stakeholders to understand needs and position SkyWater as the solution.
- Present on Customer Opportunities: Present on customer opportunities and collaborate with SkyWater's leadership team on closing strategies.
- Develop Multi-Level Relationships: Develop multi-level relationships within customer organizations, ensuring strong partnerships and growth opportunities.
- Represent SkyWater at Industry Conferences: Represent SkyWater at industry conferences and events, showcasing our expertise and building relationships.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Chemical Engineering or Material Sciences.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience selling semiconductor services or solutions.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of growing revenue and profits.
- Technical Understanding: Strong technical understanding of semiconductor device design and operation and/or systems level integration of semiconductor products.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Security Clearance: Willingness to pursue a security clearance.
- US Citizenship: US Citizenship required, as this position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance within a reasonable period of time.
- Education: MBA.
- Experience: Experience selling foundry services or ASIC designs supported by legacy CMOS nodes.
- Emerging Technologies: Experience with silicon photonics, superconducting ICs, or other emerging technologies.
