We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and certifications.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work independently on multiple concurrent projects, both in design and construction, and be responsible for the preparation of contract documents and specifications for complex building systems. This encompasses advanced calculations, systems analysis, quality control of finished projects, and field/construction coordination activities.

  • HVAC System Design
  • Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within A+S and externally with clients.
  • Complete full design in accordance with code, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Write detailed specifications.
  • Provide bid and construction phase services, including reviewing bids, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, participating in project walk-throughs, and providing field observation reports.
  • Maintain expertise in various HVAC systems and serve as a technical resource to the office.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • No less than 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with Revit preferred.
  • P.E. certification is desirable.
