About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team at Onward Search. As a key member of our staffing and talent solutions company, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Social Media Efforts: Serve as the primary lead for our client's brand social media and select programming, ensuring a cohesive and engaging online presence.
- Collaborate with Agency Partner: Work closely with our brand agency partner to provide feedback and strategic thinking about the direction of the brand's social media channels.
- Develop Social Media Approach: Create a comprehensive social media approach for our client's original titles, including content creation, campaign development, and performance analysis.
- Analyze Performance Metrics: Track and analyze social media insights to optimize performance across platforms and create performance reports.
- Manage Budget and Spend: Oversee budget and spend for the brand and owned titles, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Investigate and track industry trends and innovative media opportunities to optimize future campaigns.
Requirements:
- Experience: 6+ years of social media experience, preferably within the entertainment industry.
- Analytics Expertise: Strong understanding of social media platform analytics (primarily TikTok and Instagram, with secondary platforms being Threads, Facebook, Tumblr, and any emerging platforms) and success metrics.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, ambitious, and disciplined, with the ability to work effectively cross-departmentally.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the television and film industry.
- Passion for Diversity: Passion for diversity and commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and creators of color.
- Communication Skills: Self-starter with strong communication skills, ability to give feedback, and experience in establishing and executing workflows.
