Job Summary:

The Environmental Services Supervisor will assist in the supervision of an assigned hospital Environmental Services Department under the direction of the Environmental Services Department Director. Key responsibilities include establishing and enforcing work standards, monitoring inventory and equipment usage, problem-solving, and training of department staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all in-services for the Environmental Services Department
  • Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment
  • Ensure staff receives proper initial training in assigned areas and tasks
  • Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to enable each one to perform to their fullest potential
  • Maintain an environment that is in sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
  • Demonstrate and promote Xanitos' culture, values, and management philosophy
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in the janitorial/housekeeping industry required
  • Customer service skills
  • Medical cleaning a plus
  • Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required
  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required
