Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, adhering to industry standards and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure the safe and productive operation of all equipment by scheduling and completing preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent desired.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • DOT certification for air brake inspection and adjustment, and annual vehicle inspections.
  • Two years of practical experience in heavy truck repair.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, follow detailed instructions, and maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions

Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. Occasionally work in high precarious places. Work environment is usually loud.
