The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is in search of a dedicated and forward-thinking psychologist to take on the role of Chief Psychologist for the Pain Management Program. This position entails directing the psychological services for pain management, necessitating advanced clinical, academic, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate should be a prominent figure in the field of pain psychology and possess experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, faculty mentorship, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of psychological care for patients at the Pain Management Program
  • Develop and implement innovative models of psychological care for pain management
  • Guide and mentor junior faculty to enhance their professional development
  • Engage with essential stakeholders to promote integrated care

The successful applicant must hold a PhD in Psychology, have completed postdoctoral training in health psychology, and be licensed to practice in California. The compensation for this role ranges from $112,500 to $297,200, supplemented by additional benefits through the health sciences compensation plan.
