The Society of Behavioral Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Pain Psychologist to join our team at the University of California San Francisco. As a faculty member in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients with complex chronic pain.
Responsibilities- Conduct intake evaluations and assessments to determine appropriateness for neuromodulation
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy for patients with pain
- Collaborate with physician and non-physician trainees as part of the care team
- Develop and implement innovative new clinical care models
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field
- Completion of postdoctoral training in health psychology, with a preference for an APA-accredited clinical fellowship in pain psychology
- Licensed to practice in California
