Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the Institute of Advanced Gastroenterology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our physicians to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Perform and document patient history, consultation, and follow-up in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Conduct and document physical examinations, as appropriate for Gastroenterology/Hepatology, with a focus on patient assessment and care.
- Assess patient condition and consult with supervising physicians as needed, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Review and maintain patient records with a deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality.
- Document conversations and medications ordered in patients' medical records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Medical office experience, with a focus on patient care and healthcare administration.
- Basic life support certification, with a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
- Health coaching and patient assessment skills, with a focus on patient education and empowerment.
- Physiology knowledge and medical terminology expertise, with a focus on accurate and effective communication.
- Experience administering injections and performing physical examinations, with a focus on patient comfort and care.
- HIPAA compliance and confidentiality, with a commitment to patient privacy and security.
- 1 year of experience with EMR systems, with a focus on efficient and effective documentation.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification, with a focus on advanced patient care and management.
- Physician Assistant License (PAL), with a focus on medical licensure and regulation.
