Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Advanced Urology Institute LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of urological services and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various administrative and clinical duties under the direction of your assigned supervisor.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests.
- Assist physicians with exams, phlebotomy, and collection of lab specimens.
- Prepare and administer medications with physician authorization.
- Change dressings, apply bandages, and perform other first aid procedures.
- Use CPR skills when necessary and prepare accurate, legal, and ethical documentation.
- Maintain patient logs, including lab requests, CT scans, and treatment orders.
- Assist with room turnover, new patient work-ups, and updating medical history.
- Ensure proper hand-off of responsibilities and meet established attendance criteria.
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
