Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a physician.
  • Perform select clinical duties, including vital sign measurements and recording patient information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining records.
  • Perform basic materials management functions, including ordering and stocking supplies.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Medical Assistant certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
