Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and management
  • Filing and organizing medical records
  • Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Organizing paperwork and documents
  • Uploading files in a timely manner
  • Performing other business office and clinical functions as needed
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, clinical or medical teammates
  • Maintaining positive communications with medical staff members and their office personnel
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • One year of Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
