Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Dermatology Solutions Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical providers in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist medical providers with day-to-day delivery of healthcare services and patient care management.
  • Ensure accurate and complete patient information in the electronic health record.
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by escorting them to the exam room, documenting patient history, and verifying medical and surgical histories.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling tests and treatments, processing referrals, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure positive patient experiences and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and current certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • One year of medical experience in a physician's office or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with electronic medical records and other medical software.
Work Environment

The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment. The position requires the ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, insurance companies, and other members of the public on a regular basis.
