About the Role

The Associate Accountant will be a key member of the Accounting team at NetJets, supporting general accounting functions, including financial statement closing controls and procedures in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This position collaborates with other departments and supports process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and record business transactions for U.S.-based companies, including chart of accounts updates, intercompany billings, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely completion of the accounting close process on a monthly and quarterly basis, adhering to regulatory requirements and company-established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Perform technical accounting research and provide financial and accounting advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 0-2 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting.
  • Intermediate or higher level of Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains enterprise accounting software or similar system preferred.
  • Strong adaptability, communication, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, takes pride and ownership in work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
