Job Title: Automotive Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Manager is a key role within Prosperity Staffing, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing auto dealerships. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key members of dealer management to ensure that Prosperity Staffing is known within the dealership and all members of management are familiar with our program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan dealer visits in advance to maximize time and dealer contacts.
- Actively visit 8-10 dealerships per day in a focused area.
- Establish multiple levels of contact within each dealership to ensure recognition and understanding of our program.
- Meet with key dealer staff to train and educate them on our program and its benefits.
- Provide training on the funding process and required documents.
- Participate in the creation of marketing programs and communicate with key dealer staff.
- Act as a liaison between dealer staff and our team to facilitate funding and credit issues.
- Identify competitive advantages and share with management to assess and correct.
- Increase market penetration by increasing volume from existing dealers and identifying new dealer relationships.
- Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings to share territory updates.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports through CRM.
- Awareness of competitor programs and ability to sell against them.
- Attend trade shows as needed.
Requirements:
- Three to Five years prior indirect sales experience.
- Strong outside sales skills to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Able to drive as a major component of the job.
- Strong knowledge of all facets of the automotive business.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels within the dealership.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
