Job Summary:

Radiance Technologies is seeking a highly skilled High Power Microwave Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing analysis of technical data, insight into the effects of HPM on other equipment, and recommendations to the Government as the sole HPM subject matter expert on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform critical analysis of technical data packages, including SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning/results, HPM lethality analysis, and HPM risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide recommendations on the emplacement of HPM systems to maximize lethality while limiting impact to equipment.
  • Interface with Naval Surface Warfare Division-Dahlgren HPM SMEs to provide RCCTO leadership with recommendations on various efforts being conducted.
  • Work with stakeholders to gain approval to operate HPM systems both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Perform all-source analysis to acquire required technical specifications.
  • Provide professional engineering advice, guidance, and assistance in various stages of research, development, and deployment.
  • Formulate and estimate technical parameters that are not available from all-source analysis.
  • Support the preparation of risk assessment reports, safety assessment reports, and technical data packages and presentation materials.

Requirements:
  • Experience evaluating, coordinating, and risk mitigating with HPM/RF systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplined team, including program management and technical/engineering personnel.
  • Experience with the Directed Energy Weapon Initial Operational Employment Review and Approval Process (DEWRAP) process.
  • Experience with a wide range of sensors (EO/IR, Radar, etc.).
  • Experience with non-kinetic effectors (Lasers, EW, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor in working with senior Army leadership.
