Job Summary

RTX is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our Power Conversion Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing power conversion circuitry. Your expertise in power electronics and controls will enable you to create innovative solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze power conversion circuitry using standard non-isolated power conversion topologies
  • Guide ECAD personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation
  • Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule
  • Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major
  • Experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear converters
  • Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost
  • Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls electronics
  • Demonstrated use of software tools for electrical circuit simulation and/or printed circuit board layout
  • Demonstrated ability to document designs and circuit performance verification
  • Understanding of fundamental power conversion concepts, components, and techniques
