Job Description

As a Cloud Services Engineer at Intel, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and validating software to enable Intel hardware features and optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-prem deployment models. You will work closely with partners to understand their software stacks and optimize full-stack software to enable cloud software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software to enable Intel hardware features and optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-prem deployment models.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their software stacks and optimize full-stack software to enable cloud software.
  • Develop reference cloud platform software and improve or enable customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.
  • Specialize in specific technology domains, including data services, AI/ML, and open-source development projects.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and 4+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and 3+ years of experience.
  • PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 1+ year of experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud services engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience with Golang.
  • 1+ years of experience in API development and microservices architecture.
  • 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Annual Salary Range: $186,552.00-$279,772.00

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based position, with occasional attendance at Intel sites based on business need. We also offer a hybrid work model, which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
