We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that supports our customers' applications and services.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure components, such as virtual networks, storage systems, and compute resources.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, networking, and systems administration. You will have experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS, and be proficient in programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C++.
Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud infrastructure components, such as virtual networks, storage systems, and compute resources.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate cloud infrastructure tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
