This position reports to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor and is responsible for operating a van/bus to transport passengers in a safe, courteous, and professional manner according to the daily manifest schedule.
Responsibilities- Operating a vehicle to transport passengers in a safe and courteous manner
- Working variable shifts and irregular hours, including overtime and safety emergency response
- General servicing of vehicles, including cleaning and fueling
- Preparing for daily runs by reporting to dispatch and adhering to dress code
- Ensuring vehicle safety and reliability through daily inspections and reporting
- Maintaining safe conditions by complying with traffic regulations and enforcing passenger safety rules
- Following emergency procedures in the event of an accident or incident
- Reviewing critical incidents and exceptions to policy with Supervisor
- Valid Driver's License
- Open availability to work during operating hours
- Subject to US DOT Drug and Alcohol testing
- Prefer High School diploma or GED equivalent
