Role Summary:


The Logistics Route Coordinator is tasked with overseeing a team of drivers, messengers, and security personnel engaged in Cash in Transit operations.

This role ensures accountability and the safeguarding of all assets while prioritizing the daily operational workflow. The CIT Supervisor collaborates with management to ensure the secure, safe, and efficient operation of the armored vehicle facility.

This position operates within an armed environment.

It also necessitates the enforcement of regulations to protect the premises and assets of Brink's and its clients, as well as the safety of individuals present on the premises of Brink's and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to CIT personnel
  • Manage daily operations, including but not limited to route efficiency, scheduling, and branch operations
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment, aiming for the safety of all CIT employees
  • Deliver coaching and skill enhancement to team members consistently
  • Utilize systems, equipment, and process redesign to promote continuous improvement
  • Maintain and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Secure inventories by implementing controls and ensuring strict adherence to security protocols; execute measures to minimize workers' compensation claims and security losses
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations necessary for job performance
  • Assist management as needed to achieve branch objectives
  • Cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of operational experience in transportation and/or logistics
  • Meet all relevant Department of Transportation requirements
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms licensing standards
  • A valid guard card or the ability to obtain a guard card or any other necessary licenses
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an armored vehicle operator
  • Understanding of route analysis and logistics
  • Familiarity with lean/process improvement methodologies
  • Experience in budgeting and planning
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
