At Hallmark Youthcare Richmond Inc., a premier Residential Treatment Center located in the Greater Richmond area, we specialize in supporting adolescents facing emotional challenges stemming from trauma. Our dedicated team of highly skilled professionals is committed to providing compassionate care in a nurturing environment.

We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs): Our LPNs employ critical thinking and clinical skills to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care to our residents. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, our LPNs play a vital role in promoting positive health outcomes.

We are a drug-free workplace.

Compensation: Up to $32.00 per hour (including shift differentials)

Work Schedule: 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document residents' medical histories.
  • Monitor residents' progress and identify any side effects from medications.
  • Assist with basic medical care tasks, including wound care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and injections as directed.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to residents as needed.

Essential Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of medications, including dosages, effects, and contraindications.
  • Effective verbal communication and strong documentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to engage appropriately with residents aged 11-17.
  • Sound clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
