Position Overview

Work Schedule
  • Full-Time Position
  • Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
  • Rotating Days with Required Weekend Shifts

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities and services to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Conduct regular rounds with healthcare professionals and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Evaluate resident conditions and provide first aid or refer to appropriate medical personnel as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status and any changes in condition.
  • Document assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your nursing skills.
  • Serve as a mentor to other team members, promoting best practices in nursing care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current LPN licensure in Virginia.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A solid understanding of medical procedures and treatments.

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Extensive walking, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
  • The ability to respond to emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment.
