About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing industrial projects from inception to completion. As our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet/exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and exceed their expectations.
  • Staffing and Resource Allocation: Coordinate staffing needs, assign tasks, and monitor project team members' performance.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality standards, track project milestones/deliverables, and ensure that all work meets the required specifications.
  • Status Reporting: Prepare regular status reports, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Meetings and Communication: Facilitate and document meetings with clients and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Vendor and Consultant Management: Coordinate the work of personnel, vendors, and consultants, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery.
  • Business Development: Assist with business development duties, including client interviews, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related construction field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Professional licensures are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, with 5+ years of experience working directly with clients.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of business management principles (strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership), customer service experience (needs assessment, quality standards, customer satisfaction), and design techniques/tools for producing technical plans, drawings, and models.
