Key Responsibilities
  • Generator Parts Specialist
  • Research, accurately quote, purchase, and organize generator replacement parts for internal service teams and external customers.
  • Proactively sell residential generators by cultivating and developing relationships with contractors and end-users.
  • Assist walk-in and phone-in customers by cross-selling, answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing general customer service related to parts, rentals, and residential generators.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of the Parts department.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all shipping and receiving, including ordering, tracking, and problem resolution.
  • Responsible for annual inventory management for assigned warehouse locations, including inventory maintained in Technician vehicles.
  • Provide accurate, efficient, and timely quoting and invoicing of parts and residential generators.
  • Develop and maintain proactive and meaningful relationships with vendors.
Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume parts department or relevant generator technical experience.
  • Experience with material/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) software is preferred.
  • Experience with shipping courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) software is preferred.
