About the Job:

Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a variety of settings, including their homes and offices.

Job Details:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history from patients.
  • Travel to patient locations for appointments is required.
  • Paid per appointment, this is not an hourly paid position.
  • Bi-weekly pay.
  • Some travel expenses may be covered, depending on the location of the appointment.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
  • Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
  • Gather mandatory information from patients and verify their identities.
  • Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
  • Accurately label all samples.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
  • Detail-oriented and sound organizational skills.
  • Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
