Job Summary:

The Clinical Care Specialist will be responsible for providing safe and competent patient care in various clinical areas and settings. This includes demonstrating competency in clinical practice, self-directed goal-setting, and adapting care to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides safe and competent patient care, adhering to current patient care guidelines.
  • Communicates effectively with peers, colleagues, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Independently implements the nursing process for patients and families, integrating evidence-based practice resources into clinical practice.
  • Delegates care where appropriate and serves as a preceptor for new employees and students.
  • Creates personal goals for lifelong learning and professional growth, conducting self-assessment of performance and identifying own learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated competency in clinical practice and self-directed goal-setting.
  • Knowledge of current patient care guidelines and ability to adapt care to rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
