The Registered Nursing (RN) role at Sentara Healthcare is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. As a RN on our Medicine/Step Down Unit, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients with a range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
- BSN or MSN degree preferred
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Experience in critical care or step-down unit preferred
