Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager - Land/Site Development

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Drive business development initiatives and strategic planning
  • Oversee technical aspects and review ongoing project activities
  • Utilize design expertise in grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage, and public improvements
  • Manage project staff, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Assess client service requirements and contractual agreements
  • Act as an advocate for clients while ensuring their satisfaction
  • Assist with the entitlement process and permit applications for development projects, coordinating with land use consultants

Minimum Qualifications for the Project Manager - Land/Site Development

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
  • At least 3 years of experience as a project manager in civil engineering design, focusing on private development, infrastructure, and public works projects
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects, clients, and staff; including fee setting and contract negotiations
  • Experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding municipalities
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures
