We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the State of Georgia.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced LPN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job SummaryAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent or disabled individuals. This includes administering prescribed medications, performing various medical treatments, and documenting patient information.
You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and provide appropriate documentation
- Provide basic care and treatments for patients
- Record food and fluid intake and output as deemed appropriate
- Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in their conditions
- Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions

- Must pass a pre-employment background check and a post-hire federal background investigation

- High School and College Degrees Must Be From an Accredited Institution
We are a Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program qualified employer.
We require a Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND six months of nursing experience.
