About the Job: Work For Warriors Georgia is seeking a skilled Nursing Instructor to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for teaching nursing students in classroom and clinical lab settings, developing curriculum, and evaluating student progress.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments that align with program goals and objectives.
  • Student Evaluation and Progression: Evaluate student performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback to students.
  • Program Planning and Management: Assist in planning, developing, and monitoring budget for equipment and supplies, and preparing pertinent documents related to program function and accreditation.
  • Professional Development: Maintain qualifications for employment as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Policy Manual and accreditation standards.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators, and collaborate with other departments to achieve program goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Earned Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited RN program from an academic institution that is accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
  • Licensure: Hold a current Georgia license in good standing as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certification: Hold an active BLS/CPR card.
  • Experience: Documented minimum of three (3) years of practice as a licensed registered nurse within the preceding seven (7) years.

Benefits: Target gross annual salary is $55,000-$65,000. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's highest qualifying degree. Position is eligible for state benefits, including retirement, insurance, leave accrual, and holiday pay.
