Job Title: Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer on the Digital Infrastructure Processing Node Tech Team, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of a network and/or networks in support of the DIPN Team goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and lead activities in support of the Digital Infrastructure Division of the Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management Program Executive Office
  • Develop processes to monitor and maintain Digital Infrastructure Processing Node networks and systems in support of software engineering and developers
  • Provide DIPN Network Engineer recommended architectures, processes and procedures to effectively operate and maintain DIPN platform networks
  • Develop and document network design and execution
  • Deliver digital architectural diagrams (OV-5a) of the DIPN platform
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications (technical), Physics, or similar degrees
  • Understanding of fundamental requirements development and management processes
  • Extremely motivated individual who is a self-starter and works well in a team environment
  • Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as organizational skill
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters or higher degree in Information Systems, Computer, Systems, or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field of expertise
  • Model Based Systems Engineering, or other technical discipline
  • Experience with SysML in Cameo and/or SparxEA
