Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at E Tech Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and testing continuous and batch control applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or work on project teams responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of control systems.
  • Develop project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project leadership and identify change orders and justify changes to project management.
  • Anticipate and provide solutions to project leadership and/or customers, giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule and travel, if necessary, to participate in the design, development, and start-up of control systems at client facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent educational background.
  • 5+ years of industry hands-on experience executing automation projects for process plants, preferably in CPG/Life Sciences/Food & Beverage/Chemical domains.
  • Understanding of batch and continuous process control strategies deployed in various industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop process control system applications, utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented software development and delivery methodologies.
  • Expertise with the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual server-based control system architectures.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation specification, installation, and troubleshooting, and control panel design, check-out, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience rapidly troubleshooting and solving equipment and instrument-related issues during start-up and commissioning.
  • Experience working at customer sites supporting the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria, and codes relevant to Instrumentation and Controls.
