Position: Senior Technical Writer

Position Overview: Encora Inc. is in search of a seasoned and inquisitive Senior Technical Writer to become a part of their marketing division. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in generating engaging content across diverse formats such as articles, white papers, and blog posts aimed at senior technology decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, and CEOs of technology companies that heavily depend on proprietary technology. The Senior Technical Writer will work closely with subject matter experts, influencers, and marketing team members to develop content that highlights Encora's expertise and distinctive viewpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce captivating and insightful content for senior technology decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with specialists to convert innovative ideas into clear communications.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of technical subjects to convey Encora's expertise.
  • Engage with C-suite executives to create high-level communications and thought leadership content.
  • Ensure that content is consistent with brand voice, style guidelines, and best practices.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Remain informed about the latest technology trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of technical writing experience, ideally within the technology or software engineering industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive content for senior technology decision-makers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts.
  • Expertise in areas such as cloud computing, AI, ML, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, or data analytics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with SEO and content optimization is advantageous.
