Director of Finance Job Description

At Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, we're seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our Leadership Committee, you'll play a vital role in driving financial success and supporting our hotel's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting and control function, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of progressive hotel accounting experience, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
