Product Specialist (Budtender) Job Description

Chalice is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Product Specialist (Budtender) to join our team. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products, and ensuring a positive and compliant store experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and cannabis culture.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to ensure a positive and compliant store experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, safe, and inspiring store environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately use and maintain the POS system, handling cash transactions, and processing customer information.
  • Documentation: Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, typically between 4 to 6 hours per shift.
  • OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of OLCC cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Friendly and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of cannabis and its applications.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Cash handling and POS experience.
