Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at ProFocus. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in driving data governance initiatives that enhance internal efficiencies and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and assess business processes to recommend efficiency improvements.
Facilitate requirements work sessions between business stakeholders and analytics teams.
Provide technical support for production environments, diagnosing and resolving issues.
Translate operational and commercial requirements into technical specifications.
Document requirements using Azure DevOps (ADO).
Support data governance initiatives and collaborate with data teams.
Perform feasibility analysis and participate in vendor negotiations.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong focus on Data Governance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business analysis and project management within the data and analytics space. Must Haves:

5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management within data and analytics
3+ years of SQL experience for querying databases and data lakes
2+ years experience documenting requirements using Azure DevOps (ADO)
Experience wireframing or prototyping with business stakeholders
Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks and processes
