CUMULUS | Albuquerque operates 8 radio stations in the Albuquerque region and its neighboring areas. Our diverse stations include: 92.3 KRST-FM Country Music, 93.3 KOBQ-FM Hit Music, 99.5 KMGA-FM Soft AC Music, 103.3 KDRF-FM AC Music, 96.3/770 KKOB News Radio, 95.9/610 KNML Sports Radio, and 94.5/1050 KTBL Rock music. Collectively, these stations engage thousands of listeners daily.

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure maximum operational uptime for all computer systems and LAN/WAN networks.
  • Adhere to routine maintenance protocols and schedules for all network and computer hardware.
  • Assist in the installation and upkeep of control consoles, audio routers, recording devices, microphones, digital audio systems, transmitters, antennas, control systems, and remote equipment.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining system updates, ensuring antivirus software is functional, and being available 24/7 for off-air emergencies.
  • Willingness to learn about radio automation and routing technologies is essential.
  • Travel to various markets or towers and stations may be necessary.
  • Availability for on-call duties 24/7.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft IIS, Apache, Mac iOS, Microsoft Office, and Exchange clients.
  • Knowledge of Routing/Switching protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, VOIP.
  • Experience in Internet Security measures: Firewall (PIX/ASA, Barracuda), Intrusion Detection Services, NAT, Policy Routing, DMZ, VPN (IPSec, L2TP).
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN architectures including Ethernet, Spanning Tree, ISL, and Point-to-Point Circuits.
  • Experience with Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls, Cisco Switches, Cisco IP Routers, and Cisco VOIP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networks at the packet level.
  • Experience with Adtran Atlas DACS, Adtran T1/T3 CSU/DSUs, ISDN BRI, and PRIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with management and staff at all levels, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of computer audio formats including WAV, MP2, MP3, AAC.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs and ladders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT-related field.
Education and Certifications:
  • Microsoft MCSE certification preferred.
  • Cisco CCNA or higher preferred.
  • SBE CBNT certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Commitment to ongoing education to stay updated on the latest systems and technologies.
  • A valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle insurance are required.
