Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Support Specialist to provide critical support to the President/General Manager of KOAT-TV 7. This role will involve performing confidential assignments, coordinating daily operations, and handling administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry-related boards and professional organizations.
  • Manage the President/General Manager's Outlook Calendar and coordinate meetings with the administrative office.
  • Handle incoming calls, take messages, and refer callers to other internal departments as needed.
  • Work with the corporate HR team to generate employee contracts.
  • Handle administrative and business office correspondence, routing items to other appropriate persons as needed.
  • Learn various systems to pull daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Oversee and coordinate logistics for key KOAT initiatives and community partnerships.
  • Maintain current lists of contacts and confidential business files.
  • Work with others on the FCC Public File and necessary reports.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements, prepare expense reports for reimbursement.
  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, and problem-solving.
