Parking Call Center Representative

Job Summary:

The Event Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and fans attending events at various venues in the District Detroit. This role requires a high level of communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming support calls and provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding parking options, venue information, and other related services.
  • Utilize knowledge of Flash equipment and kiosk functionality to assist guests with parking-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with interdepartmental teams to resolve guest concerns and provide solutions.
  • Process transactions, issue receipts, and provide refunds as needed.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Document guest concerns and feedback for follow-up with partnering departments.
  • Assist with guest recovery cases to provide immediate resolution to guest concerns.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a service-oriented role or industry.
  • Passion for serving others.
  • Outstanding phone and business etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and/or other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of the Detroit area, including sports teams and local attractions.
  • Experience with or knowledge of various venues, including Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre, and others.
