About the Role:

Position Overview

The Senior Integration Engineer is a pivotal member of the Data and Analytics Team, tasked with evaluating requirements, crafting, delivering, and sustaining a robust integration framework to facilitate both external vendors and internal systems. This role involves executing system and process enhancements while ensuring adherence to data standards. Responsibilities encompass the design, development, testing, and deployment of various integration types utilizing Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). The Integration Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to create scalable and efficient solutions that align with business growth. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, possesses strong project management capabilities, and is adept at driving high-quality outcomes. Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to formulate action plans and timelines, manage multiple initiatives concurrently, and achieve results through teamwork while challenging established practices.



Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications:
  • Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Alternatively, a combination of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible, professional experience in a relevant business domain may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with ERP Tools in financial, HCM, or Supply Chain domains, including at least one (1) year of experience with Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), or a minimum of seven (7) years of experience with Workday integrations in HCM, Finance, or Supply Chain domains.

  • Experience in understanding end-user needs, gathering requirements, and designing solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation and orders databases, data conversion models, workflows, and master files.
  • Ability to independently perform job duties with minimal supervision and assist team members in leading complex projects.
  • Lead team in managing intake processes and ensure alignment of priorities.


Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a service-oriented approach with customers, providing timely follow-up and addressing issues or concerns. Respond to staff and client inquiries in person, via email, and by phone. Provide after-hours on-call support as scheduled.
  • Gather functional and technical design specifications to develop, test, deploy, and support all Workday integrations.
  • Develop, deploy, and support technical integrations using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, and Workday Custom Reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess document requirements, review designs, and define functional specifications.
  • Manage Workday integration analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production.
  • Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendors.
  • Participate in Workday semi-annual release reviews and testing, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with new features.
  • Prepare and maintain key documents and technical specifications for new and existing solutions.
  • Stay informed about market trends and tool innovations, exploring methods to enhance automation.
  • Provide production support for incident management and integration monitoring.
  • Work closely with end-users to identify, resolve, and explain data discrepancies.
  • Monitor intake queue, efficiently troubleshoot, resolve, report, and close active issues.
  • Mentor junior team members in technical and functional areas.
  • Document standards and best practices, ensuring adherence through code reviews of reports.
