Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time, licensed Senior Structural Engineer / Senior Project Manager to join our expanding team in a fast-paced and collaborative setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise and possess a proactive approach to project management, ensuring high-quality service to a diverse clientele across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting structural calculations for the design and analysis of various materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
  • Developing and evaluating analysis models, interpreting results for both 2D and 3D structural frameworks.
  • Overseeing construction administration tasks, which include site visits and review of shop drawings.
  • Staying updated with contemporary construction methodologies and relevant building codes.
  • Managing project deliverables such as design drawings, cost estimates, specifications, and reports.
  • Preparing and assessing technical studies and reports.
  • Conducting field observations prior to design and during construction phases, which may involve travel to project sites.

Candidate Requirements

  • Professional Engineer license (PE required, SE preferred).
  • 10-15+ years of professional design and engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive mindset.
  • Creative, collaborative, and client-service oriented approach.

  • In-depth knowledge of structural engineering processes, materials, and systems.
  • Proficient in project management and client engagement.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Revit, RAM, AutoCAD, Enercalc, and Bluebeam.
