About the Role:

Position Overview

The Senior Integration Engineer is a pivotal member of the Data and Analytics Team, tasked with evaluating requirements, crafting, delivering, and sustaining a robust integration framework to facilitate both external vendors and internal systems. This role involves executing system and process enhancements while ensuring adherence to data standards. Responsibilities encompass the design, development, testing, and deployment of various integration types utilizing Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). The Integration Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to create scalable and efficient solutions that align with business growth. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, possesses strong project management capabilities, and is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to devise action plans and timelines, and to execute those plans while managing multiple initiatives concurrently. Exceptional analytical skills are required to interpret and adapt established methods, system procedures, or operational concepts to new scenarios. This role demands a high degree of creativity and independence, with a wide latitude expected in achieving results through teamwork and a willingness to challenge established practices.



Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications:
  • Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Alternatively, a combination of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible, professional experience in a relevant business domain may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with ERP Tools in financial, HCM, or Supply Chain domains, including at least one (1) year of experience with Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
    or
    A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with Workday integrations in HCM, Finance, or Supply Chain domains.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a service-oriented approach with clients, providing timely follow-up and addressing issues or concerns. Respond to inquiries in person, via email, and by phone. Provide after-hours on-call support as scheduled.
  • Gather functional and technical design specifications to develop, test, deploy, and support all Workday integrations.
  • Develop, deploy, and support technical integrations using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, and Custom Reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess documentation requirements, review designs, and define functional specifications.
  • Manage Workday integration analysis, system configurations, and production deployment.
  • Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendors.
  • Participate in Workday semi-annual release reviews and testing, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with new features.
  • Prepare and maintain key documents and technical specifications for new and existing solutions.
  • Stay informed about market trends and tool innovations, exploring methods to enhance automation.
  • Provide production support for incident management and integration monitoring.
  • Work closely with end-users to identify, resolve, and explain data discrepancies.
  • Monitor intake queue, efficiently troubleshoot, resolve, report, and close active issues.
  • Mentor junior team members in technical and functional areas.
  • Document standards and best practices, enforcing adherence through code reviews of reports.
