Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company with high moral standards while adhering to our "Code of Business Conduct & Ethics".
  • Develop new growth through effective relationship building with current and prospective clients.
  • Review and negotiate Terms and Conditions with clients to assist in closing proposals or contracts.

  • Develop new sales strategies with management to pursue additional revenue channels.
  • Research market trends and follow industry publications to determine current and future markets and growth potential.

  • Maintain our CRM system and coordinate input of information as required from management.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Job will require flexibility to travel to client offices, conferences, or job sites for purposes of bid walks, sales and negotiation meetings, as well as to our corporate office as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Development Manager in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Strong personnel and management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex commercial or technical information.
  • Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel) and CRM systems.
  • Ability to multi-task, and work on multiple projects in varying stages at a time.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.
  • Knowledge of industry standards related to the storage tank industry.
  • Knowledge of API 650, 653, AWWA and ASME codes is preferred.
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
