The Patient Registration Representative will serve as the liaison between patients and Good Samaritan University Hospital for their upcoming elective procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills to address patient concerns and provide clear information about their visit and pre-surgical testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information for elective procedures.
- Schedule appointments for patients in Cadence and maintain endo/colon schedules in Optesia.
- Register patients for pre-surgical testing and ensure accurate documentation.
- Process cash postings and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Typing skills of 40-60 wpm and alpha-numeric keystrokes of 5000 per hour required.
- Salary range: $26.67 per hour.
