Job Summary

As a Valve Assembly and Test Specialist at CIRCOR, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the assembly and disassembly of new valves and the repair of existing ones. Your work will involve highly complex custom engineered products, and you will be required to perform tests to ensure that the valves meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble new valves and repair existing ones
  • Perform tests on valves to confirm they meet the required standards
  • Prepare reports for return material authorizations
  • Provide guidance and instructions for repairs and estimate labor and materials for repair quotes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Mechanical aptitude and intermediate knowledge of hand tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and perform multi-faceted projects
  • High pressure testing and Steam testing knowledge

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2-4 years' experience in Assembly and Disassembly
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense issued Confidential Security Clearance or possessed a Security Clearance within the past 24 months
  • Nuclear Navy Machinist Mate experience ideal
